Search for a Therapist in the Eastside

Jenny Frank-Doggett, LMHC [more]
Areas of expertise: Welcome. I am a therapist doing “soul” oriented work, helping people to re-connect with their true path or life-purpose. My therapeutic office provides a safe, grounded and comfortable space for you to make this journey. In my experience, strong persistent feelings of unhappiness, anger, fear, or loss are indicators that we have become stuck or veered from our true paths. Eating disorders and addictive behaviors can be extreme forms of derailment. I accompany people in their work, serving as a gentle guidepost along the way. I use my deep intuition and sensitivity in concert with experience and analytical skills to serve as this guide. Reconnecting with the true self helps to bring deeper meaning, love, and perspective to life’s problems. I use the process of “becoming one’s own self” as the basis for relationship or marital therapy. My therapeutic technique is informed by the relationship between client(s) and myself and will be uniquely tailored to the needs of each client and family situation. I take into consideration the relationships and commitments in your life and how these affect your functioning. Depending on the person(s) my work may include teaching people how to examine and challenge destructive thought patterns and behaviors, and how to incorporate more effective parenting strategies and skills. I will help people to remember and use their dreams and other unconscious processes such as sand tray and art to begin to develop deeper soul connection and exploration.
