About the Artist

Deborah Koff-Chapin, BFA Cooper Union

The images used throughout this website are reproduced from SoulCards 1 and 2 by artist Deborah Koff-Chapin. SoulCards are interactive decks whose evocative imagery helps people access their feelings, insight and creativity. SoulCards were created through the simple yet profound process of Touch Drawing, which Deborah originated in 1974. She has introduced Touch Drawing at conferences and educational institutions all over the country. Deborah is the author of Drawing Out Your Soul. She is founding director of The Center for Touch Drawing and serves on the board of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association. Her artwork has appeared in numerous magazines and books.
