Therapy Styles:
I have a warm, accepting, and supportive style that is conducive to honest sharing and personal exploration. It can take alot to address one's feelings, difficulties, and concerns with another person. I support you in doing so in ways that are thoughtful, respectful, and attuned to your development. My approach is well-rounded, interactive, and grounded in an understanding of how we change and grow. I use a holistic approach that addresses both the creative and the destructive ways we use to cope with the external and internal challenges of our lives. This May Involve: ~ An understanding response to emotional pain, shame, or trauma ~Seeing how you're unconsciously sabotaging yourself or keeping yourself stuck in undesirable feelings, behaviors, or patterns. ~Learning to disengage from your inner critic and the potential disapproval of others. I will help you inquire into your thoughts and feelings, clarifying your patterns, schemas, and blocks to growth. This process helps you be more authentic, aware, and accepting of yourself and others. It also supports your expansion into more successful and meaningful ways of being.
