private pay sliding scale available to clients who qualify

Therapy Styles:
individual therapy: Rogerian, systemic, object relations (depending on the client's need) couples: an individualized mix of various couples therapies, depending on the couple family: Bowenian, object relations (again, depending on family needs) children: play therapy, parenting support or parenting education, family therapy, advocacy (depending on child needs)

Areas of Expertise:
couples: straight and gay couples seeking to improve their functioning or communication; separation or divorce; preparation for marriage or other commitment; sexual or intimacy difficulties families: blending; divorce; parenting (stepchildren, foster-adopt children, birth children, and kin); survivors of suicide, and other grief and loss individuals: depression and anxiety; childhood trauma, including sexual abuse; religious or spiritual concerns supervision of therapists, either towards licensure or for ongoing support and learning


Other information:

I work out of a church, which gives me free office space in order to be able to afford to charge on a sliding scale. However, I do not engage in any religious pressure, and I only discuss religion with clients who wish to do so
